The Vino Sling

* Shameless plug alert *

Ok, so you were warned that this was going to be a commercial.

The problem: No place to put your wine glass while enjoying food pairings at wine tastings

Did you ever attend a wine tasting, only to find out that there was nowhere to put your glass? You know…at events like 5 at 5 at Whole Foods or 6 at 6 at Giant Eagle Market District. Or the place to see and be seen, the Columbus Food and Wine Affair? (Sorry about the music if you clicked that last link ; )

You’re holding your wine sample while being handed a small plate of food. Somehow you have to figure out where you’re going to set your wine – on the bulk food bins perhaps? Or on the cases of pop at the end of the aisle? Well…there is a better solution.

Hands-free wine tasting

The Vino Sling holds your wine glass so you don’t have to. I mean you have better things to do with your hands…like eating food. Or texting. The only time you really need to hold the wine glass is when you drink the wine. So why waste valuable hand time? (Video commercial coming soon.)

Hold other stuff + your wine sample

Hold other stuff + your wine sample

The benefits:

  • Frees up your hands to eat your food, text, take pictures, etc.
  • Keeps your wine in front of you so you know where it is at all times
  • Don’t have to worry about trying to figure out where you set it down
  • You won’t have to wonder if you picked up and drank somebody else’s wine :P

If you are looking for a solution to this vexing problem, I’ll be out and about at some of the local wine tastings in Columbus, peddling my Vino Slings. Or you can contact me through any of the social networks I spend time on. (See “Other places I hang out” on the upper right side of this page.)
