Fitness coach shares her journey to a healthy lifestyle

Trisha-3Hello from Sunny Arizona! Although originally from Ohio, I have been living here for the last 10 years.  I am a 37 year-old lover of music, reading and writing.  I am also an adventure seeker – I enjoy being outdoors, learning new things and meeting new people. Animals are my passion, and I spend a lot of time volunteering for several non-profit animal rescues.

I am currently enjoying my life as a health and fitness coach, where I am able to touch people’s lives from all over the world in a positive manner.  Every day I look forward to helping people achieve their goals to live a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life!

In my past life I struggled with being overweight, depression, and severe bouts of almost constant migraines.  I wanted to feel better and make a change but didn’t have the knowledge, support, time, money, or quite honestly the energy to make it a reality.  I eventually realized that it was time to get rid of my excuses and do something about my situation.  For two years I ran at least 10 miles a week, ate healthier and cut soda completely from my diet.  During those two LONG years I lost a total of 14 lbs. and didn’t see much of an improvement in my mood or health issues.mountain3 (2)

Then my life changed.  Or should I say…I changed my life!

I found the programs and support system that allowed me to lose the same amount in just two months and it put me in the best shape of my life. I was healthier, stronger and happier than I had ever been. The support I received from my coach and the group I was involved with helped keep me on track.

I felt grateful to have finally found something that actually worked – not a gimmick or short term fad diet. I found a way to change my life forever.  I decided I couldn’t keep something this great a secret and I had to pay it forward and share it with as many people as possible.  More than a year and a half later, I am still achieving my goals and helping others do the same.

There is nothing better than helping someone change their life. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever experienced, and it is my goal to reach out and help every person out there who is looking for that positive support and guidance that will help them to make their dreams a reality.

I am not a fitness expert or a nutritionist – just a normal person like you with many of the same struggles in common. Someone who has been right where you are today – wishing you could change your life, but thinking it is impossible; or that there are just too many things standing in your way.  We all have different reasons why NOT – I can help you see why you CAN.  I have conquered the obstacles in my life that kept me from succeeding in the past and can share my real life experiences to help you to be in the best shape of your life.
